About Us

Our podiatrists at Faulkner Podiatry have been educated and trained at university to diagnose and treat both medical and minor surgical conditions of the foot and the lower limb.   On a daily basis our team of podiatrists take care of general nail and skin conditions which includes corns/callouses, warts, cracked heels, fungal nail infections and ingrown toenails.   We also specialise in developmental podiatry concerns affecting children which include flat feet, pigeon toes and knock knees.  In such cases podiatry care is essential in order prevent such problems in childhood continuing into adult life.  For more sports podiatry related injuries such as ankle sprains, shin splints, plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis.   The treatment plans often include soft tissue and orthotic therapy along with footwear advice.  Podiatrists also play a vital role in the treatment of systemic conditions such as diabetes and vascular disease which affect both the neurological status of the foot and the circulation to the foot.  Arthritis, a condition affecting the joints within the body, is another common concern affecting the foot and lower limb.  We specialise in all aspects of podiatry which ensures we caterto all foot care needs.
